Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year!!!  I'm so glad 2011 is over.  It was a year to remember, but also a year I would love to forget parts of.

I have to remind myself, most people wish to start over or find something refreshing in their lives with the new year upon them.  For myself, I think I've jumped on that wagon.
Needless to say, there are lots of things this ole' gal wishes she could do over.  However, I find that lessons learned don't have to be repeated, and do overs... there not always what they would seem.
Here's to a productive New Year, full of happiness, well wishes and blossoming adventures!

This year, I will be focusing on completing Blood and Dreams 2- Blackheart, before I continue writing on the 4 other manuscripts I have partially completed.  I'm finding my organizational skills still in order, but my focus has jumped to too many projects at one time.
I think it's time for me to slow down a bit, so that I can accomplish what I originally set out to do.  :)

Possibly this year (2012) I will gain some more PR, and increase sales.

I would like to send out a special thanks to Amazon.com, for making the last two years very memorable in allowing my books to be available to the public.  I look forward to sending you several more in the near future!!!

Fall is upon us!  I'm so exicited.  This is my favorite time of the year.  The leaves have already begun to change color, and the air begins to be cooler.  I just love it!

Today, I will be doing some editing on a few chapters of my new novel:  The Black Woods.  I'm excited to say, this one seems to be descriptively darker in it's surroundings than my other books.

I'm super happy to be writing this one.  However, I am recovering from a small case of "Writers Block."
Hopefully, my creative mind will open up a little more as I delve back into the new world I have created.

Here's to hoping that all of you are enjoying your day!

New novel released

My second novel:  She Woke The Dead, is now on sale at Amazon.com.  It will soon be on sale also at:  Barnes and Noble (online.)  This is my second novel.  My first novel titled:  Blood and Dreams ~ A Vampire's Desire was released in the third quarter of 2010.

She Woke The Dead short synopsis:
Suzy Sommersby, woke the dead on the first night she realized, she had powers. Although for her, she never did understand how it happened. Suzy naively thought the spells she had learned, were no more than innocent incantations. Her childlike nature always seemed to guide her in the wrong direction. This time, she was too inexperienced to see it coming.

She soon finds that the spell book her Grandmother left her wasn't just a story. The spells actually work. And, she is not the only one with a book like this. Soon, Suzy and a friend are on a mission to find the master book, to increase their powers.  But, what they didn't see coming, was that one of them would be out of the picture for the hunt, at least temporarily.

I hope you all will check out the book.  I had a blast writing it!
